Process to make the pizza.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. The oven should be very hot before putting the pizza in to bake. This process usually takes about 20 minutes utmost.

Crust preparation

Make sure the pan/tray to be used is microwave safe. Put unbaked crust on the baking tray and use a pastry brush to smear olive oil around the crust. This is the first step to preparing the crust.

Sauce spreading

Spread the preferred amount of pizza sauce all over the crust. You can add a bit more of the sauce if you prefer that, or if you like dry pizza, you can add the sauce thinly on the crust. On the other hand, if you prefer a white pizza you can skip the sauce and add a little more olive oil to achieve this. The sauce is responsible for the brown color on the pizza.

Toppings addition

Lay your favorite toppings on the sauce starting with the heavier toppings at the bottom followed by the lighter toppings like spinach leaves at the top. Commonly used toppings tomato passata, mozzarella, and vegetables or cured meat. Meat toppings should always be cooked prior to putting them on the pizza because when they are baked, they will just heat up and not get fully cooked. To avoid sogginess on the crust, reduce the amount of vegetable toppings on your pizza.

Addition of cheese

Sprinkle the cheese over the toppings. You can put it thick if you like or add a thin layer if you want a lighter pizza.

Baking process.

Set the time you need for the baking on the timer setting on the combination microwave oven. If you have the digital display enter the amount of time needed on the number pad provided. Ovens with analogue timer display, set the dial to the baking time you need. Alternatively, you can program the oven function to automatic programmes. This is the recommended setting for a combination microwave oven for pizza baking. Put the pizza in the oven. Press the start button to begin the process of baking.  After the time you set for baking is over, (normally 20 minutes) an alarm sound will beep to alert you when the pizza is ready. The readiness of the pizza is determined after the crust color turns to crispy golden brown and the cheese has completely melted. Use a kitchen gloves to hold the pizza tray to avoid getting burnt.
